Lyndon Howell is a 15 year old violent thug and something of an urban author. After a further appearance in court, he is assigned to Sheila, a novice probation office, who has to help him live a life away from crime and violence.
Sheila is a friend of Michael, a quiet gay English teacher. She decideds to put the two together, in the hope that Michael, as an English teacher, can encourage Lyndon to focus on writing.
The two men form a friendship that supports and helps them both understand themselves.
